THE CHRONOMAT COLLECTION

The Chronomat was first introduced in 1984, bravely going against the trend of the day for extra-thin quartz timepieces, and instead presenting a robust, impressively proportioned mechanical watch.

And it’s a risk that paid off. Inspired by the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, launched in 1982 in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron, the model proved a popular celebration of Breitling’s centenary and hailed the return of the mechanical chronograph to prominence.

This Chronomat B01 42 is characterised by a robust, 18K red gold case and the iconic bezel with four rider tabs.

OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE

A contemporary black rubber strap presents a 42mm 18K red gold case, featuring the iconic bezel with four rider tabs.

The anthracite dial features silver-tone hands and indexes, three sub-dials, a date display, and subtle yet striking red details.

For optimum performance, this timepiece is powered by the Breitling 01 calibre movement, certified by the COSC.
