And it’s a risk that paid off – the model proved a popular celebration of Breitling’s centenary and hailed the return of the mechanical chronograph to prominence.

This Chronomat B01 42 is characterised by a robust, stainless steel case, the iconic bezel with four rider tabs, and the signature Rouleaux bracelet.

An elegant stainless steel bracelet presents the 42mm case, featuring an iconic bezel with four rider tabs.

The blue dial features silver-tone hands and indexes, three black sub-dials, a date display, and subtle yet striking red details.
