The Chronomat was first introduced in 1984, bravely going against the trend of the day for extra-thin quartz timepieces, and instead presenting a robust, impressively proportioned mechanical watch.
And it’s a risk that paid off – the model proved a popular celebration of Breitling’s centenary and hailed the return of the mechanical chronograph to prominence.
This Chronomat B01 42 is characterised by a robust, stainless steel case, the iconic bezel with four rider tabs, and the signature Rouleaux bracelet.

An elegant stainless steel and 18K red gold bracelet presents the 42mm case, featuring an iconic bezel with four rider tabs.
The grey dial features silver-tone hands and indexes, three sub-dials, a date display, and subtle yet striking red details.
