WHY WE LOVE IT

–

The Constellation was once Omega’s flagship model.

It was launched by Omega in 1952, after a limited production of a watch commemorating their centennial in 1948 that was aptly named the “Century.” A contemporary to the original Speedmaster, Seamaster SM300, Railmaster and DeVille lines, the “Connie” was a popular choice during its day and age, known for its award-winning precision movement and high-concept design execution. Over the years Omega produced many different Constellation models, with a wide variation in case shape and dial design. 

This particular Constellation is a gorgeous, modern Globemaster version. Featuring a 39mm stainless steel case with fluted bezel and a signed crown, it’s paired to a sunburst blue dial with matching handset, Super-LumiNova-filled baton indices and an unobtrusive date wheel at 6 o’clock. Paired to a black leather strap with a signed, hidden deployant clasp, it’s the perfect, dressier Omega, sized for the modern wrist. 

In great condition showing only light wear throughout, this Globemaster includes its inner box, operating instructions, international warranty from Burdeen’s Jewelry dated to 2016, chronometer certificate, pictogram card, spare blue and red NATO strap, and travel bag. With its Master Chronometer-certified, co-axial movement and handsome pie pan dial, it’s an absolute sleeper within the Omega catalog.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is excellent condition overall showing only light wear from gentle use. Sunburst blue 'pie pan' Luminova dial is in as-new condition with matching handset. Sapphire exhibition caseback. Signed crown.
