WHY WE LOVE IT

3… 2… 1… Liftoff!

Take a poll amongst wristwatch collectors, and we'd bet the consensus would be that there might be nothing more important or iconic in a watch collection than an Omega Speedmaster. 

Sure, chronographs such as the Rolex Daytona or the Heuer Carrera are classics - icons even, but neither can match the stature of the Speedy with regards to importance in history. In fact, arguably no watch can.

This particular Speedmaster, a Reference 105.003-65 'Ed White,' features a 38.5mm stainless steel 'straight-lug' HF case, a correct DO90 bezel showing honest wear and a light fade, an excellent matte black Tritium dial with a matching handset, a stainless steel flat-link bracelet with a signed blade casp, and last but not least - the legendary Calibre .321 hand-cranking chronograph movement powerplant - considered to be one of the best movements ever designed.

In fantastic condition throughout, this piece comes complete with an extract from Omega's archive confirming production on December 1967.

Everyone should own a Speedmaster at one point in their collecting endeavors, and this example would make an exceptional addition to any collection.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in excellent condition overall showing signs of light previos refinishing and normal wear consistent with age and use. Matte black Tritium dial is in very good condition showing even patination to luminous elements with matching handset. Signed crown.
