The Holy Trinity of watch brands: Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin.

Generally less understood than either of its respected compatriots, Vacheron Constantin has a legacy of producing some of the very finest high horology complications in history — and some of the loveliest.

Sports watches came later to VC, as pressure from the new ‘Luxury Sports Watch’ category introduced in the early 1970s forced the storied brand to evolve — but historically, classically styled dress pieces is where Vacheron cut their teeth.

The Patrimony line is to Vacheron as the Calatrava line is to Patek Philippe, classic, understated and timeless. This particular Patrimony dates to circa the 1960s and features a 35mm white gold case with an acrylic crystal, a polished bezel, and a sunburst silver dial with applied indices and a matching handset. Powered by Vacheron Constantin's Calibre K1072 automatic winding movement, it comes paired to an one of our Analog:Shift leather straps with a steel pin buckle.

With its perfectly sized case and beautifully symmetrical layout, this is a fantastic opportunity to own a classic dress watch style from one of the world’s finest watchmakers.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in excellent condition overall showing signs of light previous polishing and light wear consistent with age and use. Sunburst silver dial with applied indices is in fantastic condition with matching handset. Unsigned crown shows light wear from use.
