WHY WE LOVE IT

The Zodiac Sea Wolf is among the first purpose-built diving watches ever produced, alongside such legends as the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, the DOXA Sub 300, and the Rolex Submariner.

Released in 1953, the Sea Wolf was from the outset an affordable skin diver meant for the masses. However, today’s Super Sea Wolf is a chronometer-certified monster that’s water resistant to 300m! Handsome, robust, well designed, and affordable, it deserves to be on the radar of any serious diver or watch aficionado.

The particular Super SeaWolf we have here dates to the 2020s. Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a unidirectional rotating dive bezel with a luminous black ceramic insert, it features a sunburst black dial with applied luminous indices, a matching ‘shovel’ handset, and an outer minute track. Powered by a chronometer-certified version of the well regarded Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, it comes paired to an excellent stainless steel multi-link bracelet with a signed push-button deployant clasp.

Accompanied by its factory goodies, this Super Sea Wolf is frankly startling in the value it packs into such an affordable package.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in outstanding, virtually unworn condition overall showing only faint wear from gentle use. Luminous gloss black dial is as-new condition with matching 'shovel' handset. Signed crown.
